Dashashwamedh Ghat is the main ghat in Varanasi on the Holy River Ganga. This Ghat was earlier know as Ramesvaram Ghat, is situated at the banks of the holy river Ganges. Dashashwamedh Ghat is nearby the popular Vishwanath Temple Varanasi. This ghat was built by Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao in 1748. A few decades later, Ahilyabahi Holkar, the Queen of  Indore redevelop the ghat in 1774.
