Sarnath Varanasi

Sarnath is located around 10 kilometers north-east of Varanasi, in Uttar Pradesh, India. Sarnath is the holy place for Buddhists. After attaining enlightenment at Bodhgaya, Gautam Buddha conducted his first religious sermon in Mrigdao (now Sarnath).
